Terms of Service
Last updated October 15, 2026
These terms cover the Einso app for iPhone, iPad and Mac, shared boards, and the einso.app website. If you got the app from the App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
Your boards are yours
You keep all rights in what you create. We don’t claim ownership of your boards and we can’t read boards you share or sync, because they are encrypted on your device. Only add content you have the right to use.
Sharing and other people’s content
When you share a board, anyone with the link can open it, and you choose whether they can add notes. You’re responsible for who you give links to. People who add notes to someone else’s board are responsible for what they add.
What’s not allowed
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Don’t use Einso, or a shared board, to post or send:
- content that is illegal, or that exploits or endangers children;
- harassment, threats, hate speech, or content that encourages violence or self-harm;
- sexually explicit material shared with people who didn’t ask for it;
- spam, scams, malware, or other people’s private information;
- material that infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark or other rights.
Don’t try to disrupt the service, get around its limits or security, or access boards you weren’t given a link to.
Reporting and removal
You can report a shared board or the notes on it from the shared page, or by emailing hello@jbiller.com. We review reports within 24 hours. If something breaks these terms, we will remove it from our server, disable the link, and may block the person responsible from sharing. Board owners can also hide or remove other people’s notes at any time, and turn notes off.
Optional services
Some features rely on other services, such as Apple Intelligence, an AI provider you connect on a Mac with your own key, or the data behind live cards. Those services are run by others under their own terms, and may change or stop. Check what an AI model produces before relying on it.
Our materials
The Einso name, logo, app and website are protected by intellectual-property laws. Templates and sample content are for you to use on your boards. Photographs, linked websites and other third-party materials belong to their owners. Links don’t imply affiliation or endorsement.
Availability and liability
Einso is provided as is. We work to keep shared boards available, but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted service, and Einso is not a backup service, so keep copies of anything important. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for lost data or indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights that can’t legally be excluded.
Ending use
You can stop using Einso at any time, and remove your shared boards with Stop sharing. We may disable links or block access that breaks these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date above shows the current version, and important changes will be noted in the app or on this page.
